I purchased 4 of these in various colors for some of the people I work with (maintenance planners). They have to regularly walk down jobs on site, and this is a great little pen that they can attach to their security badge lanyard and have with them always. They have all remarked on how well they write, and how handy it is to always have a writing instrument available. These made a great (relatively) inexpensive appreciation gift.

The only complaint I have received, is that two of the people lost the bottom portion of the body and ink cartridge while carrying them around. The two halves of the pen twist apart to allow new ink cartridges to be installed, and the friction fit of the threads can/will loosen over time.

I purchased the Fisher Space Pen Backpacker for note taking while traveling. The pen arrived quicker than expected, and has so far it has met all of my expectations. The pen is well constructed and writes smoothly in any orientation on the Field Notes notebooks I tend to use. The cap is somewhat difficult to post, but I think this will work out with a little use. Balance, weight and length are great. I'm very satisfied with the pen and appreciate JetPens adding it to their inventory.

I’ve had this for a free weeks and it’s come in handy a number of times already. One thing that kept it from being a 5 star review is that it tends to come unscrewed once in awhile. Otherwise it’s a great pen!

Ordered four of these. I have pens that cost just a few dollars that work better. But, these work the same upside down, that's nice.
