I'm definitely glad that I bought this sampler -- however, knowing what I know now, I would have just bought the Jetstream Alpha & Dr. Grip by themselves. The Sakura and Zebra don't come close in terms of comfort for long-term writing, and their inks are standard and I am finding I really do love the low-viscosity inks.

Preference def goes to the Jetstream, as it can take smaller-point refills, whereas the Dr. Pilot's smallest is .7

These pens are, as usual, all awesome! A very nice mix to choose from. The folks at Jet pens really know their stuff, and love pens as much as I do.

If I had to pick a favorite, I would say the uni Jetstream. It has good heft, but not too heavy and super smooth hybrid gel/ink. Its rich black flows like a dream and doesn't skip. Amazing pen.

I find that some pens are great for writing, and some are better suited for sketching, as I am one to do. This sample pack has me covered. Highly recommend trying these out. I'm sure anyone will find they like them all, and love at least two. ; )

Great variety of pens!

Gives a good idea of what can fit comfortably in your hand. I'm left handed so not only am I clenching the pen to hard, I usually end up with the notebook spiral in my way so having a comfortable grip is important to avoid hurting my hand. This sampler had some nice choices for me to try with these difficulties.

Found my new favorite pen body. Uni Jetstream Ballpoint Alpha Gel Grip Series. Very comfortable. But instead I swap in the ink cartridge from the Zebra Sarasa Dry pen. New favorite combo. Dries faster and less smear than what comes in it. I do like sampling though to find what I like.

All the pens in this sampler are really good and the uni and pentel are really good to gift someone because of the soft grip, I personally preferred the way the sakura pen felt in my hand tho, and while the zebra is not as good as the other ones, it still is pretty good
