I was expecting a smooth,fluid writing experience. I am experiencing a scratchy, rough not particularly nice experience that was totally unexpected. Disappointed is my reason for not giving it more stars. Pen seems well made, sturdy and should last many years.

This pen feels and looks great, but it literally does not work. I’ve tried pressing softly or firmly, holding it at different angles, etc. It constantly skips and I would recommend it to no one.

The pen body feels great in hand and writing position is also comfortable. The ballpoint ink standard cartridge was not up to my expectations, so i swapped the refill for a Hi-Tec-C LHSRF-8C4 or 8C3 and Viola, I'm a happy camper.

Overall this is a very stylish looking pen. However, the writing is very scratchy and the ink skips so much that I can't fully write a few words without the ink disappearing completely.

I really was drawn to the Rotring pen but thought this might be a cheaper alternative. The ink is not a standard size so it is not easily replaceable with some of my other ballpoint pens. I'll see about replacing it with a 0.5 mm or 0.7 mm size and fingers crossed it makes this pen usable.

The pen writes as thin as proposed. It is nice and smooth when held perpendicular to the paper. It does tend to skip a little when held more at an angle to the page but still pleased with the pen and it suites my micrographia well.

Nothing to 'write' home about - just a really fine tip pen. Not worth the $.

If you love pens that have a smooth motion and a ridiculously fine point, this is literally the best pen you can buy. One warning, there is a trade-off insofar as that the writing angle: it is more limited. You need to be more perpendicular to the writing surface than may be comfortable for some writers. Otherwise, this is the ultimate pen. Period.

My pen skips horribly. Switched out to a new ink and same results. It's a beautiful pen but doesn't live up to the Jetstream name. Hopefully ink improves in the future.

This pen feels nice and writes okay but really depends on the paper and how you hold your pen. I find it skips on the Kokuyo Jibun Techo Biz's mio paper, but writes really well in the Hobonichi's Tomoe River paper.

I purchased this pen and several refills it skips I changed the refills for the same thing to happen. Waste of money.
