I was expecting a smooth,fluid writing experience. I am experiencing a scratchy, rough not particularly nice experience that was totally unexpected. Disappointed is my reason for not giving it more stars. Pen seems well made, sturdy and should last many years.

The pen body feels great in hand and writing position is also comfortable. The ballpoint ink standard cartridge was not up to my expectations, so i swapped the refill for a Hi-Tec-C LHSRF-8C4 or 8C3 and Viola, I'm a happy camper.

Overall this is a very stylish looking pen. However, the writing is very scratchy and the ink skips so much that I can't fully write a few words without the ink disappearing completely.

I really was drawn to the Rotring pen but thought this might be a cheaper alternative. The ink is not a standard size so it is not easily replaceable with some of my other ballpoint pens. I'll see about replacing it with a 0.5 mm or 0.7 mm size and fingers crossed it makes this pen usable.
