Don't buy Lamy products. I learned my lesson. I bought one of these and liked it for a bit. It sat on my desk in my pen cup. One day I went to use it and the Lamy ink cartridge had exploded inside the pen. The pen was ruined. I contacted Lamy and they wanted me to pay to get it fixed. It was clearly a manufacturer's defect because the ink cartridges are not supposed to explode.

This pen is a game changer! Its diminutive size makes it convenient to carry in a pocket or bag -or- to stow in a car to always have something to write with when you need it. The extended barrel is the perfect fit for my medium-sized hand and I marvel every time at how the mechanism can extend and retract both the barrel and tip. It writes fairly smoothly (and may improve as I continue to use it). Overall, it's a great EDC pen.

The only issues I have with this pen are the lack of clip (not much of an issue given its easy pocketability) and the fact that, so far, it produces a broken line.

I carry a brass pen in my back pocket because I know I can sit on it and not break it. This is my alternative pocket pen for air travel, and it's served me well!

The "fit and finish" could be a little better for the high price, but still very unique and works well, and the Imperial Blue color and texture is gorgeous.

So very pleased with the promptness of delivery. The outer box arrived in perfect condition. My son who is a school administrator loved the blue color and sleekness of design. The workmanship was A+. I’m going to give some serious thought to my early holiday shopping now.

This is a really neat product and just fun to play with. The blue in particular is very nice and has almost a metallic texture like you'd see in automotive/car paint. The only negative here other than the obvious size selection needing to work for you is the limited refill options. If you go with a Lamy 2000 multi ballpoint you can get Jetstream refills which are amazing. This is a high quality, fun, and unique pen.
