Seems kinda ridiculous to take time to write about a pen, but that's exactly how much I LOVE this pen! I have looked for the perfect pen and now I've found it. No need to experiment or try anything else out there. Perfect grip, doesn't streak, writes instantly, doesn't glob and isn't too expensive. At least not for the perfect pen! Listen, I work in an industrial environment that dictates I have to have a pen at all times. This pen attaches and holds to pockets of the thinnest shirts and to collars of the thickest t-shirt, which is important to me. In blue or black ink, you can't go wrong. The blue is absolutely the best blue I've ever seen. And no, I don't work for Pilot, the only reason I'm writing is because I want to get the word out so they'll have more sells and continue to carry this pen. That's how much it means to me. I cannot tell you how many times someone has tried to 'walk away' with this pen. Ain't gonna happen! Try this pen, and hey, if you don't like it these guys will refund your money. Gotta feeling that that 'ain't gonna happen'. Cheers.

This is the best ballpoint pen I've ever used. The Pilot Acroball writes smoothly, with dark/bold ink, and very rarely globs even a tiny bit. The pen body feels nice and light. Also, even though it's .7mm, since it writes so smoothly, the line is finer than some .5mm pens. It's really a great pen for a great price. Since I found the JetPens site, I've also ordered the Uni-ball Jetstream Ballpoint Pen,.5 mm; the Zebra Espina Pearly Rubber Ballpoint Pen, .7 mm; the Kokuyo FitCurve Ballpoint Pen,.7mm; and the Pentel Vicuna Supersmooth Ballpoint Pen, .7mm. The Pilot Acroball is by far the best of these. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in more ink colors; I really like a variety of colors of ink.

I love this pen! It's really light and when writing, you don't even feel it. It's super quiet and the ink always runs without skipping or drying out. It's perfect for quick note-takers like me who need to rely on smooth ink and a light weight. For the quality you get, this product is a really good deal.

The Pilot Acroball has the most phenomenal ink of any ballpoint pen I have ever used! It is smooth, intense in color, and writes the second it hits the page. It is has all the good characteristics of a gel ink, without the drawbacks (smudging, tip build-up, etc.). This is a pen you won’t set aside, or loan!

I prefer an ink that doesn't smear and can be highlighted without smearing / feathering. This pushed me to check out oil-based hybrid inks. The Acroball 0.7mm is a good ink, with a nice thin line, reasonably smooth, and a great blue color. But I found that the 0.7mm skips occasionally. As a result I prefer the Acroball 1.0mm blue, which is smoother and less likely to skip.

Acroball is my personal favorite ballpoint pen. The ink goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and looks nice. The pen body is attractive and comfortable. I should probably have more of these honestly.

I think the Acroball standard pen body is the best there is among affordable "disposables." Light, balanced, the grip is the perfect shape. I like both the .7 and .5 tip sizes -- the 7. for fast writing like taking notes, and the .5 for more precise writing like in a planner. I like the Jetstream refill a bit better, but I'd rather hold an Acroball. Too bad they aren't cross-compatible.

The pen writes very smooth. I ordered a 1.0 to see which worked better for me. I found I liked the thicker pen.
