As an illustrator, Amelia is always ready to draw—she never goes anywhere without a sketchbook and a fistful of pens and pencils. Her favorite sketchbooks are tiny enough to fit in her purse, and her go-to pens are waterproof enough to deal with some rain. She’s gone through mountains of pens to find her absolute favorite: the Uni-ball Signo UM-151 gel pen. For her illustrations, however, Amelia prefers dip pens. She became obsessed with their expressive lines the instant she first used one and has collected dip pen nibs ever since. Her favorites are very fine, smooth, and extremely flexible.
