JetPens Penefit Program

JetPens cares deeply about our community. Whether it’s giving to our local Bay Area neighbors or students in low-income schools worldwide, we created the Penefit Program to send monetary or product donations to organizations that make a significant impact on the people they reach.

We’ve given to global nonprofits, orphanages in Africa, and schools in need. Please see below for notable current and past initiatives.

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley
Second Harvest of Silicon Valley
The JetPens team volunteered together at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley in early March of 2024. Second Harvest's mission is to end hunger in our community, and we were honored to be able to do a food sorting shift to help support this need.
CARE
CARE
In the summer of 2023, we collaborated with Franklin-Christoph to exclusively carry the Model 45 Fountain Pen in Golden Poppy. Named after the eye-catching California state flower, it features a swirling orange acrylic and subtle JP engraving on the cap. As part of the collaboration, we made a donation of $360 to CARE in March 2024. This organization aims to fight global poverty and hunger, with a focus on vulnerable women and girls.
BEAM: Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics
BEAM: Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics
BEAM (Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics) is an organization that creates pathways for students from low-income and historically marginalized communities to become scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and programmers. To support this cause, JetPens donated $4000 on Giving Tuesday, 2023.

We also donated $3000 in December 2022. We believe in the power of education and are happy to be able to give to underserved students!

JetPens is committed to partnering with BEAM by donating $4000 every year with the proceeds from our very own Kanso line of stationery.

Silicon Valley Community Foundation
Silicon Valley Community Foundation
In early 2023, we collaborated with Stalogy to create a JetPens special edition of the 365Days Notebook. After the first batch of the notebook sold out, we donated $600 to Silicon Valley Community Foundation to give back to our local community. SVCF serves the whole community—from individuals and families to nonprofits, donors, and advisors, to local officials, institutions, and companies of all types and sizes. They bring together the resources and skills of donors, business, government, and community to solve some of our region’s toughest challenges.
City Team
City Team
For Giving Tuesday of 2022, JetPens donated $3000 to City Team. An organization founded on meeting local needs, they have programs across the United States to offer help with hot meals, groceries, shelter, housing and restorative programs, learning and career help, and more. We gave to the local City Team in San Jose to show our commitment to our neighbors.
OneHacks II
OneHacks II
In mid-June of 2022, JetPens partnered with Valley Christian High School's OneHacks II event. It is a student-run 15-hour coding competition that strives to promote creativity, ingenuity, and ambition, as well as provide professional and STEM education opportunities. JetPens donated around $1500 worth of products for swag bags. We love supporting local schools and look forward to seeing what these students do in the future!
Creative Growth
Creative Growth
Based in Oakland, California, Creative Growth is a non-profit organization that provides a professional studio and an exhibition gallery for artists with developmental disabilities. They believe that art is fundamental to human expression and that all people are entitled to its tools of communication. On Giving Tuesday of 2021, JetPens made a $2000 donation to support the work that they do for people with disabilities.
Beyond Good Intent
Beyond Good Intent
Beyond Good Intent is a nonprofit organization working on community and youth development in the diverse city of Stockton, California. Their mission is to provide networking and educational opportunities to underprivileged individuals. In April 2021, JetPens donated over 100 notebooks to their Effective Academics for Stockton Youth (EASY) program, which operates from April to December 2021 and provides weekly, allowing an estimated 2,000 students to develop effective study habits, confidently set and achieve goals, and gain a greater sense of personal accountability.
Parkmont Elementary School
Parkmount Elementary School
We love supporting schools in our local community. Parkmont Elementary School in Fremont, CA holds a "Chalk the Walk" event at the beginning of the school year to welcome new students with positive messages around campus. In late July of 2020, JetPens donated 200 boxes of Umajirushi DC Chalk (Pack of 72) to help them with this project.

In late March of 2021, we made another donation of over 200 notebooks for their students to use.

They provide students in low-income communities with education and enjoyable activities. Each box is created with a designated theme and includes books, educational games, and school supplies. Their mission this year is to donate more than 1000 Art Boxes to underserved children.
World Vision
World Vision
In 2009, we partnered with World Vision to sponsor eight classrooms and provide them with much-needed school supplies. Combined with other corporate donations, each sponsored classroom received over $700 worth of supplies!

On Giving Tuesday of 2020, we partnered again with World Vision by donating $1000 to their Coronavirus Emergency Response program. They matched our donation as part of their Giving Tuesday initiative. World Vision is fighting COVID-19 by serving areas of conflict, urban slums, and refugee settlements in over 70 countries worldwide.

Ocean Conservancy

Leveraging our knowledge of and experience in importing goods from Asia, we helped transport 10,000 medical grade masks from China to donate to two hospitals in the SF Bay Area: Stanford Hospital and the San Francisco VA Medical Center. The masks were delivered to the hospitals in early May of 2020, during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
